Requirements

Good knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming;
Good knowledge of one of these programming languages: : Java, Javascript, C#, PHP, Objective-C;
Basic knowledge of web technologies: HTML, CSS, XML;
Basic experience in use of SQL and of in use of one of the following database: Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL;
Use as advanced user at least of one of following operating system: Unix (Linux), Windows, MacOS X;
Familiarity with the use of Office automation tools;

Skills that we appreciate are:

Knowledge of Agile software developing (TDD);
Knowledge of following development environment: Eclipse, Visual Studio, XCode;
Knowledge of version control system of software (Subversion; Git and ClearCase in the first positions);
Ability ti build web application and/or mobile application: (Android/iOS/HTML5);
Knowledge of J2EE’s technologies (JSP, JSF, …);
Knowledge of development framework opensourse (Spring, Hibernate, MyBatis, jQuery, …);

Thesis opportunities

In collaboration with the “Politecnico of Turin” Trim offers undergraduate thesis for Level II.

The topics of the thesis concern mainly the deepening of the technologies used in the world of web and mobile applications, with particular attention to the following issues:

Engineering the development process of applications in .NET technology.
Engineering the development process of applications in Java technology.
Testing of web applications

We also evaluate proposals on innovative topics even on not purely academic issues related to software building.
